The start of a new school year is almost here, and we cannot wait to welcome our Panthers back to campus! Registration Day is Monday, August 24, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, and it is designed to make sure every student and family feels informed, prepared, and excited for the first day of school.
Whether you are returning to GHCDS or joining our Panther family for the very first time, Monday is a chance to reconnect with friends, meet faculty and staff, get schedules and materials organized, ask questions, and get ready for a wonderful year ahead.
To make your morning as easy as possible, here's what to expect.
REGISTRATION DAY
Monday, August 24, 2026
9:00 AM–12:00 PM
When you arrive on campus, please park in the lower parking lot.
We've attached a campus map to this email. The numbered stops correspond with the numbers on the map, so simply follow them in order and we'll help you along the way!
STOP 1 — Parents Association Welcome Tent - Start here!
Visit the Parents Association tent in front of the Main Office to receive your Registration Day Raffle Ticket.
Your ticket will serve as your guide through each station. Once you've completed your stops, return your ticket to the PA tent to be entered for a chance to win some Panther gear!
Need help with the GHCDS Edlio app? Our National Honor Society students will be available at the tent to help families install the app, get connected, and learn how to navigate this important school resource. Edlio App Instructions 2026-27
STOP 2 — Faculty Lounge: Health & Medical
Stop by to submit any outstanding medical or physical forms and speak with our school nurse about medical conditions, medications, or other health information we should know before school begins.
Important: All required medical and physical forms must be submitted and cleared before a student can begin classes. Families with extenuating circumstances should contact the school nurse directly. Health Documentation for Enrollment
STOP 3 & 4 — (Upper School) Library: Registration with Your Dean

10:00AM - 11:00AM - last names J-R
11:00AM - 12:00PM - last names A-I
Students will check in with their Dean and:

Receive their advisor/advisory assignment

Purchase a student planner — $5

Log in to their Cambridge account
Library: Technology
Students who need a school-issued device will receive their technology assignment.
Please review the attached information regarding approved devices and computer registration/use before Registration Day.
STOP 4 — (Lower School) Visit Homeroom Classroom
STOP 5 — (Upper School) Meet Your Advisor
Students will visit their assigned advisor to:

Get ready for the first day!
STOP 6 — PE Uniforms
Your final station is outside the Main Office, where PE uniforms will be available for purchase.
PE Uniform: $20
PE shirts are required for students in Grades 4 – 12 this year.
FINAL STOP — Back to the PA Tent!
Before heading home, return to Stop 1 to turn in your completed raffle ticket and officially check out.
And don't forget—you'll now be entered for a chance to win some Panther gear!
Important Registration Reminder
As we prepare to welcome our Panthers back to campus, we kindly remind families that all outstanding financial obligations with Good Hope Country Day School must be resolved, or an approved payment plan must be in place, before a student can complete registration and begin classes for the new school year.
If your family has an outstanding balance, we encourage you to contact Carolyn Forno, Director of Finance, as soon as possible. Carolyn is happy to work with families to review their accounts and, when appropriate, establish a payment plan prior to registration.
Our goal is to ensure that every family is prepared for a smooth and positive start to the school year. Addressing any outstanding financial matters in advance will help prevent delays during registration and ensure that your student is ready to begin school with their classmates.
