Colorful Creations & Cultural Discoveries In Kindergarten!

Our Kindergarten Panther Cubs took a colorful journey to Panama during Spanish class, exploring the beautiful traditions of Mola art while practicing their Spanish vocabulary and discovering a new culture!

Molas are vibrant textile artworks traditionally created by the Guna Indigenous people of Panama. Known for their bold colors, intricate patterns, and striking designs, molas often feature animals, plants, and geometric shapes, making them a wonderful inspiration for our youngest artists!

After learning about this unique art form, our Kindergarteners put their creativity to work! Each Panther Cub chose either a wolf or fish-inspired mola design to color, experimenting with bright colors and patterns while connecting their artwork to their Spanish language lessons.

The results? A collection of cheerful, colorful masterpieces that are now proudly displayed in their classroom for everyone to enjoy!

Through this hands-on experience, our little Panthers discovered that learning a language is about so much more than learning new words. It's also an opportunity to explore traditions, appreciate different cultures, and discover the many wonderful ways people express themselves around the world.

Little hands, colorful imaginations, and a world of learning—our Kindergarten Panthers are becoming global explorers, one masterpiece at a time!
