NHS Volunteers at World Play Day

On Saturday, September 26, Good Hope Country Day School National Honor Society members Ella Evora, Leo Keularts, Alex McCants, and Cameron Cullinan volunteered at World Play Day at the Children’s Museum of St. Croix, helping support a day dedicated to play, creativity, exploration, and community.

Our NHS students spent part of their Saturday helping create a welcoming and engaging experience for children and families. The event gave them another opportunity to put one of GHCDS’s core values—service—into action while supporting an organization that provides meaningful educational experiences for young people across St. Croix.

The Children’s Museum of St. Croix has been a valued community partner for our NHS, giving students opportunities to contribute their time and energy while connecting with younger members of our island community.

We are proud of Ella, Leo, Alex, and Cameron for showing up and serving. Community service is about more than accumulating hours; it is about recognizing that we each have a role to play in strengthening the community we share. The island is our classroom; the world is our responsibility.
