After-school activities are officially underway for our Lower School Panthers, and LEGO Club wasted no time getting down to some serious building—and serious fun!
Their first challenge? Design and build something out of LEGO that could successfully travel down a zipline!
Our young engineers jumped right in, creating their first designs and putting them to the test. Some zipped beautifully. Others wobbled. And quite a few made a quick trip straight to the ground! But that was all part of the fun.
Students examined what happened, adjusted their designs, rebuilt, and tried again. Once they discovered a design that worked, there was no stopping them—they sent their creations zipping down the line over and over again with plenty of cheers and laughter.
And perhaps our favorite part? No one was discouraged when a design didn't work. They giggled, picked up the pieces, made a change, and tried again!
That's exactly what LEGO Club is all about. Through weekly challenges and opportunities for free play, students develop creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, patience, and perseverance—all while having a whole lot of fun.
Sometimes the best learning happens when something comes crashing to the ground…and you can't wait to build it again!
