The GHCDS Fun Run campaign is in full swing and is going great! 70% of our students have registered and our pledges have raised $26,314 for projects at the school! Good work team! We still have a ways to go to reach our goal of $60,000, so keep the momentum going!
What's been happening this week: The students enjoyed kickoff day on Monday with a pep rally that was full of laughs. Students have been earning keychains, which are delivered daily - earned for registering and for sharing their link with at least 3 email contacts. Multiple classes earned a popcorn reward on Wednesday for having at least half of their class registered at MyBooster.com, Ms. Gwilliam's 3rd grade class earned popsicles on Thursday for having the most new donations and Ms. Evans' and Ms. Lambert's classes enjoyed cupcakes from Leah Bakes Cakes by the Ocean yesterday for having the highest percentage of students registered. It's been a fun week!
What's happening next week: On Monday, the class who has shared their link with the most email contacts will be treated with fraco from Crucian Freeze! The class with the highest percentage of students with donations will earn donuts decorated Panther style from Plaza East on Tuesday. Wednesday is "Treat Your Teacher" day - the class with the most NEW pledges in the past 24 hours will earn a $25 Amazon gift card for their teacher.
Thursday, October 1st is the Lower School Fun Run! Classes will rotate through the course throughout the morning (more specific timeframes will be provided). Make sure to send them with a water bottle and feel free to come cheer your kiddo on or even join in the fun!
Friday, October 2nd is the Upper School Fun Run! The older students will run a 1 mile course around campus together and end on the lower field where water games, a foam cannon and an inflatable obstacle course awaits them. PLEASE NOTE: The lower school students will also come down on Friday and have the opportunity to play on the inflatable obstacle course and in the foam, so PLEASE SEND ALL STUDENTS WITH A CHANGE OF CLOTHES ON FRIDAY! Don't worry - we'll remind you again later in the week.
