Panther of the Week
The Panther(s) of the Week is reserved for a GHCDS athlete(s) who excelled in performance or sportsmanship during the week. This week (9/7), it goes to juniors Anna-Marie and Olivia Crikelair (blue shirt). Anna-Marie played in the previous weekend's Annual Labor Day Volleyball Tournament. She was recruited to play on the adult women's team, Sacale, which has won the tournament for the last 7 years. Ultimately, the ladies lost in the semi-finals, but Anna-Marie was selected to the all-tournament team as an outside hitter!
Olivia Crikelair also ran in the same weekend's Labor Day 5K! She won 1st place in the U18 female division!
This week's Panther of the week goes to sophomore Aidan Lear. Aidan has dominated as a middle blocker in the first 2 games of the JV volleyball season. He recorded 27 Kills, 9 Blocks, & 7 aces! Congratulations to all the athletes on their performances this week!
