If campus seems a little more colorful lately, our youngest Panthers have something to do with it! Color Days are back at the GHCDS Early Learning Center, and our little learners are seeing, tasting, creating, and experiencing their way through the rainbow!
Each Color Day brings a new opportunity for discovery—and, of course, a delicious way to make learning memorable. From RED pizza sauce and BLUE blueberry pancakes to YELLOW grilled cheese and refreshing ORANGE slushies, our Panthers are discovering that learning can engage ALL of our senses!
But Color Days are about much more than recognizing red, blue, yellow, and orange. For our youngest learners, these playful experiences build vocabulary, observation skills, creativity, independence, and connections to the world around them—all while making learning joyful.
And one of our favorite parts of this ELC tradition is watching the colors spread beyond the classroom! We love seeing students, teachers, staff, alumni and families join the fun by adding a splash of the day's color to their outfits.
One color. So many ways to learn. And a whole lot of Panther fun!
