GHCDS Welcomes New Members into the National Honor Society

Good Hope Country Day School proudly celebrated the 2025–26 induction ceremony of the John B. Faile Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS), welcoming a new group of outstanding student leaders into one of the nation’s most respected academic and service organizations.

Families, faculty, friends, and fellow students gathered in the library for the meaningful candle-lighting ceremony, where inductees officially took the NHS oath and were recognized for their commitment to the organization’s four foundational pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Current NHS officers Elias Ruderfer, Isabelle Langley, Maya Prasad, and Madelyn Donnelly reflected on the significance of these values and the responsibility that comes with membership in the National Honor Society. Their remarks highlighted the importance of leading by example, serving others with compassion, maintaining integrity, and striving for academic excellence—not only within the classroom, but throughout the broader community.

This year’s inductees include:

  • Nicholas Crikelair
  • Cameron Cullinan
  • Ella Evora
  • Leo Keularts
  • Alex McCants
  • Tristan Samuel

Membership in the National Honor Society is more than an academic achievement—it is an opportunity for students to grow as leaders, collaborators, and active contributors to their communities. Through participation in NHS, students learn the value of teamwork, service, accountability, and ethical leadership while developing habits and experiences that will guide them well beyond high school.

GHCDS congratulates these exceptional students on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make both on campus and throughout the St. Croix community.
