Josh Canning, thank you for writing such a thoughtful and inspiring article highlighting one of our very own GHCDS alumni, Izhani Rosa ’17. There is something incredibly meaningful about watching our former students go out into the world and make such important contributions, and your piece beautifully captured both Izhani’s remarkable accomplishments and the significance of her groundbreaking doctoral research at Northern Arizona University. Her work exploring the role of Crucian culture in local education is powerful, timely, and deeply connected to the values of community and identity that we hold dear at GHCDS.
