Since graduating, Angel has become an essential part of our production family, returning time and again to lend his expertise as an A1 Sound Engineer. This season, he’s taken on the ambitious challenge of Hadestown: Teen Edition—a show that demands precision, creativity, and total command of live sound.
Managing 16 live microphones on stage is no small feat. Angel expertly balances individual vocal levels, navigates complex harmonies, and ensures clarity across a wide dynamic range—from intimate solos to full-ensemble numbers. With constant scene transitions, layered instrumentation, and the unique vocal textures that define Hadestown, his work requires real-time adjustments, sharp cue execution, and a deep understanding of both the technical system and the performers themselves.
