Fourth grade entrepreneurs, Liesl Jackson, Charley Gay and Zaria Romney-Lee, created a fundraiser for the "Blobfish", a real creature who, according to the Ugly Animal Preservation Society, is unfairly ignored because it is not cute and lovable!
The girls made their own versions of a blobfish by making water balloons with faces and selling them--advance sales only!--to their lower school friends.
From their efforts, the girls raised $84, which was donated to the Nature Conservancy of St. Croix.
We are so proud of their activism and their entrepreneurial spirit!
Thank you for encouraging your students to support the Blobfish (Nature Conservancy)!
