What an incredible week it was for our middle school students during Mini-Gusto’s Vibe & Thrive experience! Designed especially for students in grades 7–10, this immersive wellness program brought together relaxation, movement, creativity, and self-expression in a way that truly allowed our students to pause, reset, and reconnect.
Throughout the week, students embraced opportunities to nurture both mind and body. Yoga sessions introduced techniques for stress relief and mental clarity, while mental health workshops provided practical tools for emotional regulation and self-care. These conversations and practices helped normalize wellness as an essential part of everyday life—not just something we talk about, but something we actively cultivate.
Creativity flourished during our guided Paint & Sip sessions, where students enjoyed light snacks, fresh fruit, lemonade, and water while exploring artistic expression in a calm and supportive atmosphere. The room buzzed with laughter and focus as canvases came to life—each one a reflection of individuality and imagination.
Energy soared during our dynamic dance sessions, where students learned cultural dances such as Bachata, Merengue, and Zumba. These vibrant experiences celebrated movement and global culture, building confidence and connection while reminding students that joy and wellness can go hand in hand.
To top it all off, our hands-on Tie Dye workshop added a splash of color—literally—to the week. Students explored the “art of the fold,” blending creativity with a bit of chemistry, and walked away with wearable expressions of their personality. It was more than just fun; it was art therapy in action.
Vibe & Thrive reminded us that education is not only about academics—it’s about cultivating balance, self-awareness, and community. Watching our students relax, laugh, create, and move together was a powerful testament to the importance of wellness in our school culture.
