Panthers Shine on the Red Carpet at the Annual Sports Awards Banquet

This past Wednesday evening, GHCDS rolled out the red carpet for one of the most anticipated events of the season—the Annual Sports Awards Banquet. Dressed to impress, our Panthers stepped into the spotlight as we celebrated an incredible fall sports season filled with teamwork, perseverance, and Panther Pride.

The evening honored our athletes from Cross Country, Flag Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Golf, and Beach Volleyball, with coaches reflecting on memorable moments, growth, and hard-earned successes. Teams who captured SCIAA Championships were proudly awarded their Golden Panther Paws, a symbol of excellence and dedication to the sport.

Throughout the night, individual athletes were recognized for their outstanding contributions, leadership, and growth:

Cross Country

Their commitment makes after-school athletics at GHCDS such a meaningful and successful program, helping students grow not only as competitors, but as confident, disciplined, and respectful individuals.

The Sports Awards Banquet is more than a celebration of wins—it’s a celebration of effort, character, and community. Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches on a fantastic season. Panther Pride was on full display, and we can’t wait to see what the next season brings!
