A huge congratulations to the incredible cast and crew of the Hadestown: Teen Edition at Good Hope Country Day School! From the very first auditions, students brought bravery, commitment, and heart into the room—qualities that made casting this production both exciting and challenging due to the remarkable depth of talent, preparation, and potential across the group.
Week One of Hadestown was filled with discovery, momentum, and meaningful learning. The company jumped right into the work—taking costume measurements, receiving scripts and scores, and reviewing and signing contracts as the production officially launched. The first two days of rehearsal offered a full introduction to this rich, layered musical and its powerful, engaging story, setting a strong foundation for the journey ahead.
On Day Three, the cast participated in an intensive vocal pedagogy workshop, engaging in focused, ensemble-based learning designed to establish a shared vocal foundation and common language. This work will support healthy, expressive singing and unified storytelling as the company continues to grow together. Meanwhile, our dedicated tech crew has already begun building the set—bringing the world of Hadestown to life through craftsmanship, collaboration, and creativity.
