A Heartfelt Thank You for an Extraordinary Campus Clean-Up Day

We are deeply grateful to everyone who gave their time, energy, and care to make our recent Campus Clean-Up Day such a meaningful success. Parents, grandparents, students, faculty, and members of the Board of Trustees came together with a shared purpose, and the result was a campus that reflects the pride and love we all have for GHCDS.

In just half a day, an impressive amount of work was accomplished. Volunteers planted fresh greenery in planters, painted and refreshed spaces in the Early Learning Center, pressure washed walkways, and restored areas across campus. Projects included organizing the Chemistry Lab, cleaning and repainting bulletin boards, refreshing the Lower School mural, creating a gravel path to the art building, and completing extensive clean-ups in the Pavilion, music room, storage areas, sports closet, and PA storage container.

We extend a special thank you to the Good Hope Country Day School Parents’ Association for sponsoring supplies and championing this day of service, as well as to Michael Melusky for his leadership in organizing such a productive and well-coordinated effort. The PA continues to be a wonderful partner for families who wish to “own” a campus project, offering support with approvals, materials, and volunteer coordination.

Days like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a generous and engaged community. Thank you to every volunteer who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and helped make GHCDS an even more beautiful and inspiring place to learn, grow, and thrive.
