Superpower: The Power of Peace & Possibility

At GHCDS, Mrs. Lambert finds joy in a place where students are truly known, supported, and celebrated. She loves the freedom to be creative in her classroom and the privilege of watching her students grow year after year. Some of her most meaningful moments come when former 2nd and 3rd graders—now confident young adults—return to honor their island, their school, and the teachers who helped shape their journey. Those visits remind her exactly why her work matters.

She describes GHCDS students as wonderfully curious—always eager, always exploring, always ready to discover something new.

Mrs. Lambert’s teaching superpower is creating calm, structured learning spaces where children feel safe, seen, and excited to learn. Her classroom is a sanctuary of comfort and curiosity, a place where young Panthers grow not just academically but confidently.

She began her GHCDS journey in 2004, teaching High School Forensics and AP Marine Biology. Today, she pours her heart into teaching 2nd grade, guiding young learners with patience, creativity, and joy.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Lambert brings the same sense of energy and adventure to her life. She’s a twin mom, a runner, a plant enthusiast, and an active member of the Virgin Islands Triathlon Federation board. She loves books, laughter, and soaking up time with family and friends—always embracing opportunities to stay connected to the island she calls home.
