The 2025 Lower School Holiday Raffle was a roaring success and a joyful reminder of what makes the GHCDS community so special. For more than 30 years, our Lower School Panthers have proudly carried on this beloved tradition—coming together during the holiday season to give back to a local nonprofit through a week-long raffle rooted in generosity and community spirit.
With raffle tickets just 25 cents each, students eagerly dropped their chances into bins, hoping to win one of the many exciting prizes generously donated by our faculty and administration. This year’s lineup was full of Panther-worthy fun, including the Panther Pride Package, horseback riding lessons, a night at the movies with friends, and even the coveted role of Head of School for a half day!
Thanks to the enthusiasm and kindness of our students and families, the raffle raised $778.50, all of which was donated to the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center. We were honored to welcome Ms. Ashley Bouzianis, who joined us at the raffle assembly to share how these funds will help provide care for animals in need and support their journey to finding forever homes here on St. Croix.
We are proud to continue this meaningful GHCDS tradition and to see our Panthers live out the true spirit of the season—giving back, spreading joy, and making a difference together.
