This week, our Spanish 4 students transformed into poets, artists, and storytellers as they dove into the soulful world of Pablo Neruda. Inspired by his famous odas and love poems, they created their own heartfelt works—each one filled with emotion, vivid imagery, and beautifully crafted Spanish.
During a lively class reading, students shared poems about people, places, and moments they long for—everything from childhood memories to favorite foods to the comforting pets they miss. Each poem was paired with a creative illustration that brought their words to life, turning our classroom into a vibrant gallery of art and emotion.
With every stanza, students showcased not just creativity, but a growing command of new grammar structures and poetic expression. Their performances were tender, funny, moving, and wonderfully unique.
Bravo, Spanish 4!
Your voices, your art, and your heartfelt reflections made this a truly magical celebration of language and creativity. ¡Excelente trabajo, poetas!
