Under the gentle shade of the Lower School quad trees, the GHCDS community came together for one of our most cherished traditions—our annual Taste of Thanksgiving Lunch. This beloved gathering, lovingly organized by our Lower School families, was a beautiful reminder of the joy, warmth, and togetherness that define this season.
A true holiday potluck, the event featured a delightful array of homemade dishes—savory favorites, sweet treats, and treasured family recipes passed down through generations. Each dish carried the unmistakable touch of care and love from the families who prepared them, creating a table overflowing with gratitude and holiday spirit.
Students, teachers, administrators, and parents shared not only food, but conversation, laughter, and that special sense of camaraderie that makes GHCDS feel like home. Watching our students gather around the tables, eager to sample new flavors and share their own favorites, was a reminder of how food brings people together in meaningful and memorable ways.
