The holiday spirit is shining brightly this season thanks to the talented members of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) at GHCDS! With paintbrushes in hand and creativity in their hearts, our young artists have once again shared their time and talent to help transform the St. George Village Botanical Garden into a winter wonderland for the beloved community event, Holiday Lights in the Garden.
Led by NAHS advisor Ms. Banwaree, our students joined volunteers from across the island to create vibrant, whimsical murals that will illuminate the Garden’s pathways from December 5th through January 4th, 2026. Their artwork—bursting with color, joy, and holiday magic—will greet hundreds of visitors throughout the season, adding warmth and wonder to every evening stroll.
In a joyful moment of celebration, the group gathered with Mary Harris, devoted Garden volunteer, for a commemorative photo capturing the spirit of service and creativity that defines our NAHS chapter.

We are incredibly proud of our students for using their artistic gifts to brighten the holiday season for our entire St. Croix community. Their dedication reflects the very best of GHCDS—service, creativity, and the joy of giving back.
Happy Holidays from our NAHS family to yours!
