Baseball
The LS Boys played game 2 of their season on Wednesday against the Ricardo Richards Strawberries. The game came down to a nail-biter with 2 outs and a Panther on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the last inning. With the Panthers down 4-5, Aiden hit a line drive ball deep into the outfield. A Strawberry with very sticky hands made a phenomenal catch, bringing an end to the game. Good game Panthers, and be sure to catch their next game on Monday, 11/17 at 4:00 pm against Alfredo Andrews at the Grove Ballpark.
Beach Volleyball
GHCDS is hosting a Varsity Beach Volleyball Tournament at Hotel on the Cay on November 22nd and 23rd! With teams coming from St. Thomas and the BVI, come watch our Panthers compete to be the Best in the VI!

Track & Field
The track and field team is still looking for runners in 3rd-12th grade! If you are interested at all, please reach out to me! They practice every Monday and Wednesday on the lower field from 3:45-5:15 pm
LS Girls Basketball
The LS Girls basketball team is also looking for girls in 3rd-6th grade! If you are interested, please reach out to me! They practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-5:15 pm on the slab. The team will be coached by Coach Jacob Anderson and Coach Alex Whitworth!
Panther of the Week
The Panther(s) of the Week is reserved for a GHCDS athlete who excelled in performance or sportsmanship during the week. This week, it goes to 6th grader Patrick Gilbert. Patrick plays on the lower school baseball team and is a jack of all trades. He plays pitcher, catcher, first base, you name it, he plays it. He went 1-1 in Wednesday's game, got on base twice after being walked and scoring a run, pitched the first 3 innings, and threw out 2 runners as the catcher. Congratulations Patrick!
