Congratulations to our GHCDS 4th graders Marin, Sophia, and Charley, who teamed up with a professional chef and cooked their way to first place at the inter-school Bush Cook-Off!
The event was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of local agriculture, sustainable cooking, and environmental awareness. Our students learned about island growing practices, composting, and the importance of making eco-friendly choices in the kitchen and beyond.
And of course, no event would be complete without some fun—the petting zoo was a huge hit with students and families alike!
