The GHCDS community came together for Campus Beautification Day, and the results were nothing short of amazing! A huge heaping of thanks goes out to every volunteer—parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends—who rolled up their sleeves to help make our campus shine.
In just half a day, more work was completed than could have been accomplished in several weeks! Roofs were cleaned and sealed, gardens were weeded and replanted, a new shade was installed on the slab porch, trim was replaced around outdoor bulletin boards, pavilion stage was painted, sidewalks were pressure washed, and so much more. Every corner of campus now reflects the care and pride of our incredible GHCDS community.
A special note of appreciation goes to Mike Meluskey, who led the project organization with dedication and efficiency, and to the many volunteers who lent their time, tools, and talents to make the day such a success.
Campus Beautification Day is more than just maintenance—it’s a reflection of our shared commitment to providing students with a beautiful, safe, and inspiring place to learn and grow. Thank you, Panthers, for showing that together, we can accomplish great things!
