A heartfelt thank you to Christina McPherson and Shawn Samuel for their time, effort, and expertise in bringing this project to life. Their dedication to creating hands-on learning opportunities ensures our youngest Panthers can play, explore, and discover in new and exciting ways.
This innovative tool transforms outdoor play into a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) experience. Children experiment with magnetism as they test which objects stick, explore cause and effect, and strengthen problem-solving skills through play. They use their imagination to build, balance, and create—developing critical thinking, fine motor coordination, and early scientific reasoning, all while having fun in the sunshine.
At GHCDS, we believe that play is learning, and this new addition to our playground helps our students experience the joy of discovery in every sense. From giggles to “aha!” moments, the magnet wall is already sparking curiosity and confidence in our little learners!
