Panther Sailors Compete at SAISA Regatta in Florida!

The GHCDS Sailing Team proudly represented St. Croix at the South Points Regatta #2, part of the South Atlantic Interscholastic Sailing Association (SAISA) high school series, held on October 18th in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Racing Collegiate 420s on the scenic Indian River, just east of the Sailing Center, our Panthers faced light and tricky wind conditions—but showed impressive determination, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the event. Each race brought valuable learning experiences and strengthened the team’s competitive skills on the water.

The Interscholastic Sailing Association (ISSA), which governs all public and private secondary school sailing competitions across the United States, provides student-athletes with incredible opportunities to test their skills against top high school sailors nationwide.

Congratulations to our GHCDS sailors for their hard work, sportsmanship, and Panther pride—Go Panthers!
