I want to express my gratitude to the long list of people and businesses that came together to make this seventh Fun Run at GHCDS another success!
We surpassed our goal, raising nearly $65K this year toward campus improvements.

- $64,708.97 total school profit
- 74% of students received pledges
- 86% of students registered
Thanks first to my family for championing the Fun Run again this year. I so appreciate my son Ian (grade 5) being an enthusiastic runner, fundraiser, and volunteer behind-the-scenes!

- Sandy & Scott Hardesty were again our Race Day Leaders, expertly planning every detail of Fun Run days. They set-up, facilitate, and clean-up the main events.
- Lisa Watson was my co-host for Fun Run pep rallies, kicking-off our fundraiser with enthusiasm!
- Julie Sommer volunteered to once again emcee our race days, getting the students energized and keeping them motivated!
- Alex Whitworth handled decorations for pep rallies and race days coordinated with this year's space theme.

Last, but certainly not least, a huge thanks to the teachers, faculty and administration of GHCDS for their fantastic support of this year's Fun Run. Teachers/advisors work extensively with their students to set classroom goals and incentives. Thanks to Jane Coles, Kelsey Hill, and Dana Noe for helping students track our progress on school posters. I appreciated support from Dean Elijah Mondesir, who kindly supported pep rallies, scheduled student volunteers, and facilitated the organization/distribution of race day shirts.
