ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence – St. Croix Reading
Monday, October 6, 2025 | 6:00 PM | St. Croix Educational Complex Auditorium
On October 6, St. Croix will join communities across the nation as art, activism, and teen voices unite on stage to confront the issue of gun violence.
ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence is a nationwide theatre initiative that empowers teens to write short plays sparking conversation and inspiring action on one of the most urgent issues of our time. This year’s six winning plays—selected by a panel of acclaimed American playwrights—will be read on the same evening in more than 48 cities across the country.
Here on St. Croix, students from the St. Croix Educational Complex, Good Hope Country Day School, and local community actors will bring these powerful works to life. Supported by Act Out Ensemble Theatre, the Office of Gun Violence Prevention, and Blue Tarp Productions, the event will amplify youth voices and create space for vital community conversations.
Gun violence touches our schools, neighborhoods, workplaces, and homes. Our young people see this reality too—and through ENOUGH!, they have a platform to speak out. This evening is not only a performance; it is an invitation to listen, reflect, and stand together in saying: “Enough is enough.”
We would be honored by your presence at this moving community event.
