Our youngest Panthers in the Early Learning Center continued their joyful journey through the rainbow during Week 2 of Color Days, filling the week with books, creativity, and delicious treats. Each day, students explored a new color through stories and hands-on cooking activities that brought learning to life:
Green Day – Students read the Dr. Seuss classic, Green Eggs and Ham before whipping up their own colorful version of the classic dish.
Purple Day – Crackers with sweet grape jelly made the perfect purple snack.
Brown Day – Panthers fried up tasty banana fritters, filling the classroom with warm, sweet aromas.
Black & White Day – Students blended flavors with homemade black bean dip, paired with crunchy chips.
Rainbow Day Grand Finale – The week ended on a sweet note with ice cream topped with rainbow sprinkles, celebrating all the colors together!
This week wasn’t just about colors — it was about community. We extend a heartfelt thank you to the extended GHCDS family, including alumna Jerissa Lake, for joining the fun and helping our younger Panthers learn, laugh, and discover through shared experiences.
Color Days continue to shine as a beautiful tradition at GHCDS, where curiosity, community, and Panther Pride come together to make learning unforgettable.
