On Tuesday, May 20, the Good Hope Country Day School John B. Faille Chapter of The National Honor Society (NHS) inducted 13 new members. The event was planned and organized by the current members, and was held in the Pavilion. The event was opened by the two faculty advisors, Ms. Jaffurs and Ms. Thatcher, and the program included reflections by the current officers on the 4 pillars of the NHS: Scholarship (President, Nathan Langley), Character (Vice-President, Salma Hamed), Leadership (Secretary, Morgan Garner) and Service (Treasurer, Kalyani Walter-Sundaram). After signing the NHS Registry, inductees recited the Induction Oath, concluding the Induction Ceremony. Light refreshments and many pictures and congratulations followed! Guests included Parents, family, faculty and friends of the NHS members.
