Last Wednesday, Cornelius Evans, Director of the Christiansted Lighthouse Mission, joined our 7th, 8th, and 10th grade students for an advisory assembly to share the powerful story and mission of this longstanding community nonprofit.
With heartfelt sincerity, Mr. Evans spoke about the Lighthouse Mission’s decades-long commitment to serving the St. Croix community, emphasizing empathy as the driving force behind their work—an idea that resonated deeply with students.
We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Evans and the Lighthouse Mission for their meaningful partnership with the 10th grade this year. Their collaboration has helped guide and inspire our students’ Community Enrichment Initiative, while reinforcing the values of compassion, leadership, and service.
