Over the past few weeks, the Class of 2027 has led a schoolwide can drive as part of their ongoing Community Enrichment Initiative, aimed at supporting the Lighthouse Mission.
Thanks to the generosity of our GHCDS community, our 10th graders collected over 370 canned goods! In collaboration with the National Art Honor Society (NAHS), the donations were artistically arranged into a striking representation of our school spirit—a Panther paw.
Under the leadership of the 10th grade, the display was creatively “Canstructed” by students from the Lower School, highlighting the incredible teamwork and cross-grade collaboration that defines our community.
Today, those cans were delivered to the Lighthouse Mission, bringing not only food but also hope to families in need. The Class of 2027 extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated—your kindness made a real difference.
