As part of our observance of Autism Awareness, Ms. Julie Sommer from JS Therapies visited the Early Learning Center (ELC) to share stories and lead a meaningful conversation with our youngest Panthers about understanding, acceptance, and kindness toward those who may experience or express themselves differently.
Ms. Sommer also brought along the Just Shine Bus, a sensory-friendly mobile space that the students were thrilled to explore. It was a joyful and educational experience that helped nurture empathy and awareness in a way that was both age-appropriate and engaging.
We are grateful to Ms. Sommer for helping our students celebrate differences and shine with compassion.
